Red Oak Health and Rehab Center has earned the trust of our community while caring for our friends and neighbors in a warm and compassionate manner. We opened in the spring of 2002. Our facility is located just minutes south of Dallas at Interstate 35E and Ovilla Road. Attention to details like our beautifully landscaped grounds, courtyard cabana, private dining room and fireplace create an elegant yet comfortable atmosphere.
Red Oak Health and Rehab Centers offers personalized nursing care, a comprehensive rehabilitation program and an innovative social activities program. Our Director of Nursing is a Registered Nurse. She leads a team of professional licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants ensuring our residents the best possible care.
Our in-house rehabilitation team consists of licensed therapists who work closely with our nursing staff providing an interdisciplinary approach to our Physical, Occupational and Speech therapy programs. This teamwork ensures most of our patients meet their therapy goals and are able to return to the community. Our rehabilitation program also enhances our resident's quality of life by improving functional abilities and independence.
We offer the following services:
- 24 - Hour skilled nursing care including wound care, palliative care/pain management, restorative nursing, IV therapy and diabetes management
- Comprehensive rehabilitation programs specializing in post-surgical, post-stroke, orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation.
- Geriatric Special Care unit for Alzheimer's and dementia-related illnesses
- Hospice accommodations
- Innovative activity programs including Wii-Hab.
